In recognition of his skills and experience as a practicing trial attorney, Carl L. Solomon has been invited to join the Litigation Counsel of America™ (LCA). Solomon is also Chair – Elect of The Motor Vehicle, Collision, Highway and Premises Liability Section of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and was elected to the Board of Trustees of the National College of Advocacy.
Solomon addressed the AAJ 2009 Annual Convention held in San Francisco in July, calling upon his experience as a litigator and trial attorney to speak to audiences on “Death Star Depositions,” expert witness admissibility, and direct examination during motor vehicle, collision, highway, and premises liability cases. “The AAJ Annual Convention packs a tremendous amount of learning into a five-day program for legal professionals,” says Solomon. “I was honored to present at several sessions.”
The invitation to join the Litigation Counsel of America™ was also a welcome one, according to Solomon. “The LCA is an invitation-only honor society for litigators and trial lawyers. Less than one percent of all attorneys in the U.S. are members, so I am quite pleased to have been invited to join.” The LCA considers itself “aggressively diverse,” seeking out the most prominent litigation and trial counsel across all segments of law. Among other things, the group provides an outlet to publish legal articles written by members, promotes high ethical standards, and provides resources for professional development.
Solomon has received an AV Peer Review Rating™ from Martindale-Hubble® and is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum® and partner in the Gergel, Nickles and Solomon law firm which represents clients throughout South Carolina including Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, Spartanburg, Myrtle Beach, Beaufort, and Rock Hill. The firm handles serious injury cases, wrongful death, product liability, and other complex cases. The firm was founded in 1983 and has five attorneys admitted to practice in South Carolina.
