Carl L. Solomon created the Solomon Law Group with a purpose of supporting the needs of the citizens of South Carolina by providing legal services during their time of need and by giving back to the community. The firm's motto is Protecting The Injured and Serving Our Community. To fulfill the mission of serving the community, the Solomon Law Group has provided scholarships and sponsored events that inspire our youth, including back to school book drives, reading events and haircuts, to name a few.
In addition to these goals, the Solomon Law Group also partners with charitable organizations in South Carolina with missions to offer support to other communities in need throughout the state.
The Solomon Law Group has also provided direct aid to those in need after the 2015 flood that affected Columbia and more recently, victims of Hurricane Matthew. Carl had the privilege of assisting Alean Crump and her grandchildren after the hurricane destroyed their homes and belongings. Carl participated in the Armstrong Williams Show and presented Ms. Crump with a check for shopping.
To further the mission of Serving Our Community the firm has dedicated $10,000.00 to contribute to organizations and individuals. To ensure effective distribution of funds, a three person panel will evaluate all applicants and determine awardees and award amounts on a quarterly basis. All panel members serve without compensation for their time to ensure donors that 100% of their dollars go directly to serving those in need.
Serving on the panel are Jennifer Bishop, Rania Jamison and Cheryl J. Leone. The directors all have a passion for service to others and commitment to finding opportunities to positively impact the citizens of South Carolina.
