Carl L. Solomon and Natalie R. Armstong addressed attendees of continuing legal education session at SC Bar
Columbia, SC – Solomon Law Group attorneys Carl L. Solomon and Natalie R. Armstrong presented at a continuing legal education (CLE) seminar on January 28, 2011 entitled Victims’ Rights in the Criminal Justice System. The CLE was sponsored by the Crime Victim Legal Network – A Program of the South Carolina Victim Assistance Network. Solomon and Armstrong spoke on the topic “Stepping Outside the Box-Civil Remedies for Crime Victims”.
“The South Carolina Victim Assistance Network serves all those in our state who have been touched by a violent crime,” says Solomon. “They work closely with the members of the South Carolina Bar to ensure that our attorneys and others in the legal profession are aware of the current issues, trends and necessity to address the needs of victims of violent crime in South Carolina.” The South Carolina Victim Assistance Network offers programs and resources for victims and victims’ advocates. They also sponsor an annual conference to provide additional learning opportunities. Victims’ Rights Week 2011 is scheduled for April 13-15 at the Marriott in Columbia.
